Here at Man’s Take Magazine we talk a lot about how we deliver information geared toward real men. We even go so far as to say if you’re not a real man, you can quit your whining and get the hell off our web site. With all this talk about real men, it only seems fair that we take a moment to define the reality of manhood.

A real man is a protector. He does not want to fight, but if cornered or threatened he will kick your ass.

A real man is peaceful because he has already mastered violence.

A real man opens doors for a lady and allows others to pass in front of him.

A real man listens when others are speaking.

A real man knows when to lead and when to follow. A real man does not mind following someone wiser than he.

Sometime a real man can’t help but race ahead and take the lead. He still has instincts after all.

A real man can look you in the eye… unless you’re a chick with ginormous tah-tahs, then it’s sometimes difficult.

A real man would be mesmerized by these two vixens...

A real man apologizes when he causes someone harm.

A real man admits his mistakes openly

A real man lives for today, but fights for the future.

A real can fix anything given enough time and the right tools.

Sometimes a real man takes things apart to fix them (even when they aren’t fully broken) and can’t get them back together again. It’s only because he didn’t have the right tools.

A real man can build it himself, but he knows his time is sometimes better spent letting someone else do it for him.

A real man loves fire, explosives, projectiles, sharp objects, and other generally dangerous things.

A real can speak openly about his life, but will protect your secrets.

A real man does not kiss and tell.

A real man understands and values his health, even if he temporarily ignores that knowledge from time to time.

A real man would take a bullet for his child.

A real man would jump in and try to rescue a person in distress without hesitation

A real man is strong enough to know when a situation is beyond hope

A real man is kind to animals… unless the animal might be tasty roasted with garlic.

A real man lets others take credit for new ideas and never takes credit for another person’s accomplishments.

A real man puts family above all else.

A real man can drink your sorry ass under the table should he be so inclined.

A real man has a mild adrenaline addiction.

A real man believe wholeheartedly in maximum overkill.

A real man knows how to think seven moves ahead.

A real man can rebuild a carburetor, rewire a ten speaker stereo, or construct a shed with his bare hands. He’s also smart enough to know that he knows nothing about women.

A real man will gladly make a fool of himself in order to achieve something important.

A real man reads Man’s Take Magazine as much as possible.
