Sipping the Red Headed Slut

In this, our very first issue, we’d like to commemorate the old stand-by shooter aptly named the Red-Headed Slut.

If you are unfamiliar with this creative concoction, I can assure it’s far more than just a clever name that is sure to make you smirk each time you place your order through your friendly bartender at your favorite watering hole.

Try it out for yourself this weekend. “Barkeep, I’d like two red-headed sluts please.”

It feels good just to say, and tastes good to drink it. Next time you have a party, you need to set yourself up with the three simple ingredients that form this powerful potion.

You may be thinking, “Isn’t that a chick drink? All fruity and stuff?”

Pouring a Red-Headed Slut

I argue that any drink made with Jagermeister® cannot be purely a chick drink. And if you still think it qualifies as a girls-only drink… so what? All men should keep a good girly shooter with a fantastic name ready to bust out when in the company of fine ladies.

A little hint- don’t tell them what’s in it. In fact, never tell a girl what’s in her shooter, because anytime you give them too much information about the contents of their imbibement, you give them a reason to hand it back to you with a disgusted look on their face.

So without further ado here is the recipe:

 1 part Jagermeister®
 1 part Peach Schnapps
 1 part Cranberry

Combine equal parts of all three ingredients with crushed ice in a shaker. Strain and pour into shot glasses. If you can’t make this drink correctly, then you need to surrender your copy of the movie Cocktail and admit that you’ll never be a bartender. Ever.
