My Fellow Man:

This is a very exciting time for me, as the collective visions of my fabulous Man’s Take team and I are rapidly coming together into something very cool. You will truly be blown away by what we’re creating. We are stepping over every line in the sand, just to make sure you get the whole truth.

I want to welcome you to Man’s Take, where men can be men without any pretense. You are a man, and it’s time to let loose and start acting like one. We’re here to provide all the answers to questions you could never bring yourself to ask. But it goes way beyond that.

Man’s Take is more than a magazine. It’s a way of life. It’s a commitment to understand and exercise the genetic code buried within each of us to live a free and fulfilled life. Ok, it’s also about hot chicks, hard-hitting sports, and amazing drinks from the bar…

We’re all about providing the real man’s take on life. That vision encompasses business, sports, entertainment, health, fitness, relationships, humor, and so much more. We bring you rich content, including written articles and video. And just to make sure you keep your eyeballs glued to our pages, we feature the hottest girls just to tease you.

I’ve had several people question our web domain manstake.com. They want to know, “What is a Manstake?”

Well first of all, it’s what you get when you combine the words Man’s Take without any punctuation or spaces, as is required for a web domain name.

But a “manstake” clearly has some other meanings, and we definitely intend to explore those meanings. You’ll just have to check out our premiere issue to find out what that’s all about.

I hope you enjoy Man’s Take Magazine. Be sure to stay in touch by joining our newsletter.

Yours in Manliness,

    Hi Guys

Great Magazine site. I enjoyed it.

I see that yiou do book reviews.

My latest book is coming out later this month. It is a real-man’s book. It is called “Come Here…and I’ll Show You” and will be available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Google Books. It is being issued first as an e-book.

This novel has been written in a style whereby the men are men and women are damn glad of it.

It has been written in a style to amuse and entertain the reader, – outrageous metaphors and similes are used, the language is clipped and colloquial, the women are sexy and dangerous and the hero is a two-fisted whisky-drinking patriot.

The book is pure escapism. It is designed as a means for the males in the niche market to escape to some harmless, male orientated entertainment without being made to feel guilty about doing so.

Come Here… and I’ll Show You” is not “thug-lit” It is not graphic. It is often amusing, often surprising and always entertaining. The book follows the best traditions of the ‘Pulp” novels by Micky Spillane and Raymond Chandler.

The men who will buy this book are well known to all of us. They are: -

    a) the men who are shocked and sad: -

    • that children can no longer be disciplined by their teachers
    • that children are no longer given examinations “because it is bad for their self-esteem”
    • that muggers are allowed to sue their victims if the victims fight back
    • that would-be terrorists cannot be extradited because such action would violate their human rights.

    b) They are the men who admire our military personnel; they are the men who did not evade the draft.

    c) They are the men who believe that men and women are very different and that it is perfectly acceptable for men to behave like men.

The book is also a damn good read!

I would like to send you an advance copy by email if you agree.

    Many thanks

    Best wishes

    Derek Lantin
